Anamur District Directorate of National Education is the official representative of the Ministry of National Education in the district of Anamur and is the first-hand executive of the duties and responsibilities of the Ministry. It is responsible for planning, executing, developing and auditing practices by evaluating all educational activities in the district.
There are 1 District Director of National Education, 4 Branch Managers, 6 Chiefs, 11 Data Preparation Control Operators, 6 Officers, 3 Servants and 1 Driver in our Directorate. A total of 841 personnel, including 40 directors, 57 deputy directors and 751 teachers, are employed in schools and institutions affiliated to our Directorate. There are 1 Public Education Center, 1 Guidance Research Center, 3 Private Rehabilitation Centers, 1 Teachers' Center ASO Directorate, 1 Vocational Education Center, 1 Science Art Center, 1 Independent Kindergarten, 38 kindergartens, 20 primary schools, 18 Secondary schools, 9 High Schools There are 60 institutions in total. These institutions serve a total of 12,509 students, aged between 5 and 19.
Providing the necessary support in the professional development of all teachers working in Anamur, developing their knowledge and skills are among the primary responsibilities of our institution. Our institution's priorities are to support participation in national projects based on science, to provide the necessary support by encouraging the participation of educational staff and students in international projects in order to achieve a European Union standard education quality, and to lead the expansion of their horizons through intercultural interaction.
Anamur Directorate of National Education is to educate its students as constructive, creative and productive people who are physically, mentally, morally, spiritually and emotionally balanced, have a strong personality and character, have free and scientific thinking skills. It is among our priorities by our directorate to contribute to being citizens who respect human rights and have responsibility towards personality and society. As the District Directorate of National Education, we have a team of highly experienced technology that has managed to coordinate a KA201 project based on producing content related to the teaching of language and numerical courses using the distance education method and the moodle platform between 2015 and 2018. This year, we are a partner in a KA201 project based on digital course content production by developing a common foreign language curriculum within the scope of kindergarten. And also this year (2020) we are taking a role as a leading partner in producing digital content for the KA201 project with gender equality. As part of the project, we will prepare a digital curriculum on gender equality in schools.
